Eating fats to lose weight may seem counterintuitive, but if you know which fats to eat, you can increase your weight loss. Prior to the study, both groups were more or less equal in weight, with little obesity. The only difference between the groups was the amount of insulin administered. Insulin levels were increased. Patients gained weight. Insulin causes obesity. As insulin goes up, the body set weight goes up. The hypothalamus sends out hormonal signals to the body to gain weight. We become hungry and eat. If we deliberately restrict caloric intake, then our total energy expenditure will decrease. The result is still the same - weight gain.
I only started using Kangmei (Gold packet) 2 days ago. I was also worried about sleeping well at night. Personally, I had no problem falling asleep and slept like normal (I am a light sleeper), waking like normal to go to the loo. What has definitely changed is the way I wake up in the mornings. I am awake earlier and feel on top of the world. No more morning blues. I have not noticed any heart palpitations, but then every body is different and this can attest to everybody giving conflicting results. No headaches either. Dry mouth, yes, but I only drink my 2 liter bottle empty plus my normal 4 cups of green tea. Yes, I can feel something happening to my body within an hour of drinking the tablet. Not a buzz, but sort of a ''pick me up'' feeling. By late afternoon I am back to normal. No hunger pains yet. I have always tried to eat healthy, so I am just carrying on as before. I do watch what I eat though, limiting the carbs. Cannot wait to weigh me next week.

TrueNorth Health Center is one of the few chiropractic-run inpatient facilities that I am aware of where chiropractic philosophy drives an integrative medical facility. I think that makes us a rather unique situation as well, and it is particularly of interest to chiropractors who are interested in that type of exposure and training: a chance to work with a variety of doctors on an inpatient basis—actually working with sick people, seeing them get well, and using methodology consistent with what we were taught in school.
Day 5: Drink (more) green tea. Green tea is full of antioxidants and is said to help promote weight loss by increasing your metabolism. Green tea can also help with health conditions like diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, blood pressure, skin issues, and so much more. Why wouldn't you drink more? While the jury is still out on just how many cups you need to reap the benefits, shoot for 3 or more a day and you'll be in good hands.
